From hand-crafting sushi alongside a master chef to tasting premium whiskys with a master distiller,Wynn’s Master Class series invites you behind the scenes for a number of exciting and exclusive classes. These are one-of-a-kind experiences that are uniquely for you, and exclusively at Wynn.

Master Sushi Chef Kitt Xaiyasiha will share his expertise in an interactive class that will teach techniques for making nigiri, temaki (also known as hand rolls) and maki rolls, while sharing tips on the best ingredients and methods for achieving restaurant-caliber sushi at home.Xaiyasiha will also join with Mizumi’s executive chef Devin Hashimoto to discuss key elements of Japanese cooking, emphasizing the balance and harmony of flavor, color and texture, while demonstrating how he crafts and composes his ultra-luxurious sushi platters.Participants will also enjoy a casual lunch during the class.The Sushi Master Classtakes place at Mizumi on Friday, September 15 at noon.

Master Dim Sum Chef Sandy Shi joins with Red 8 executive chef Chen Wei Chan for an encore of their popular dim sum workshop, sharing all their secrets to making perfect Chinese dumplings.From wontons and wrappers to fillings and dipping sauces, this interactive demonstration will include professional tips and surefire methods for pan frying dumplings to crispy perfection.The class also includes a casual dim sum lunch.Wonton Love – A Dumpling Master Class will take place on Thursday, October 19 at noon at Andrea’s inside Encore. They are highly trained experts whose job is to sniff out trouble.But the 10 detection dogs on Wynn’s security team also spend their workdays melting the hearts of visitors young and old.Wynn’s dogs, impeccably bred and imported from Europe, are carefully screened for proper temperament and undergo 10 weeks of extensive training with their handlers before being allowed in the resort environment.It’s all part of Steve Wynn’s commitment to doing everything possible for the comfort and protection of his guests.Come meet Tom Moore, senior manager of K9 operations, and tour the private kennel homes of this elite team. Alastair Menzies, master of whisky for Diageo, invites you to join fellow whisky aficionados for an exclusive taste and look into the world of luxury blended Scotch whiskies crafted by one of the world’s preeminent distillers, Johnny Walker.Participants will learn the intricate whisky making process, including cask selection and aging, the difference between blended and single malts and all about the notable whisky regions of Scotland.A cigar artisan will also guide guests through cigar basics, from cutting, lighting, smoking, and storing to the perfect pairing of a good smoke with a premium whisky.Participants must be 21 and over to attend.Whisky and Cigars –A Master Class in Appreciation takes place at Encore’s Eastside Lounge at 3 p.m. on Thursday, November 9.

Get in touch with your inner Willy Wonka at this interactive class.Executive Pastry Chef Patrice Caillot and Chef Chocolatier Bruno Codinha will teach you the basics of chocolate making, demonstrating how to work with chocolate, emulsions and tempering.You’ll learn how professionals use molds and pipe and perfectly seal their creations.In between the dipping and enrobing, you’ll taste a variety of Wynn’s sensational artisanal chocolates.The Chocolate Master Class takes place at Lakeside at Wynn on Thursday, December 7 at 2 p.m.

Glass in hand, Wynn’s executive director of wine Mark Thomas will lead you on a tour of the world’s great regions in this intimate, exclusive tasting.Taste an array of sparkling wines from Champagne and Prosecco to cava and more, all paired perfectly with a variety of small bites from chef David Walzog’s kitchen.Thomas will guide you through the world of fizz, showing you the many moods, foods and occasions that suit different styles of sparkling wine.Participants must be 21 and over to attend.Champagne Wishes – A Bubbles and Bites Master Class takes place on Thursday, December 14 at 3 p.m. at Lakeside inside Wynn.
